We are delighted to announce that Business Council for Africa and Invest Africa are hosting Dr Kiptoo, Principal Secretary, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Kenya.

Before becoming Principal Secretary, he worked at TradeMark East Africa (TMEA) where  his main responsibility was to manage and monitor Kenya’s programme including; strategy, planning and delivery of  results in the fields of regional trade, infrastructure development, modern customs systems and Government institutions. Dr Kiptoo is widely credited for having  grown the Kenya Country Program at TMEA, in particular, the Mombasa Port infrastructure. He played a lead coordination role in the development of the Mombasa Port Corridor that was signed by 25 trade agencies in 2014.

Dr Kiptoo will discuss UK/Kenyan international trade, the post Brexit agenda, intra-commonwealth trade opportunities and private sector collaboration. With Kenya currently in the spotlight, this event should be highly informative.
