The Business Council for Africa is very pleased to be hosting a Breakfast Briefing with Josephine Gauld, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire.
Josephine was appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire in 2014. She has substantial experience in African markets, having previously served as Second Secretary in Kinshasa (2004-2007), First Secretary in Abidjan (2007-2009) and Deputy Head of Political Section in Abuja (2012-2014). She has also held several positions in the FCO covering the Balkans, the South Caucasus and the UK’s response to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa in 2014.
Josephine has a degree in Italian and Philosophy from Leeds University, a Master’s in Development Management from the London School of Economics and a Diploma in Public Administration from l’Ecole Nationale d’administration (ENA) in France. She also holds a Masters in Political Science and Public Affairs from the University of Paris I – Pantheon Sorbonne.
